Lakeview Renovation

This is a repeat client who wasn't quite ready to dive into a full design renovation at first, but still wanted to make a huge impact on his space, so he commissioned me for a custom piece of art for a large blank wall in his home. This turned into the Chicago Flag that was then incorporated into the full renovation!

After a few years went by, he was ready for the full renovation! We explored his style together to come up with the unique vibe of rustic art deco! We made several bold choices like the main room drop ceiling with lattice work and led strips to accompany an 18 candelabra chandelier as the true focal point of the room. The many types of lighting allows for all different types of entertainment while giving you that spectacular WOW moment when you first walk in.

As you walk through this home, everything is cohesive via style and color palette while incorporating the client's unique personal touches, whether they be new or inherited antiques. The curio cabinet was refinished and lit to showcase his many family heirlooms as a gorgeous way to enter the home.

As you work your way into the smaller spaces like the dining room and bedroom, these have lower ceilings painted the same color as the walls to become the perfect intimate environments for gatherings and family dinners, or to wind down from a long day. With chandeliers and molding added for drama and flair, these rooms create the perfect ambiance to relax and enjoy life.

The bathrooms are where we truly took things to the next level with art deco and rustic boldness. The unique combination of the two styles offers warmth and flair unlike any other rooms in the house. These rooms have been the talk of the town and were some of the most popular rooms when this home aired on the Travel Channel, along with an exclusive with myself and one of my partner contractors!

If you love this, I can't wait to see what you and I can create together!
